Maou na Ore to Fushihime no Yubiwa Chapter 1 ver. 2.0 – RELEASE!!
I know what you’re thinking, “It’s an effin’ re-release, DAFUQ!?”
Before you go ranting your heart out, during the initial release of Maou na Ore to Fushihime no Yubiwa, we received, or rather our sub-admin received a slew of complaints from shocked and disgruntled readers. I must admit, I was shocked as well with the following complaints:
- File size was too damn HUGE!!
- Over leveling of the images
- Translated from a Chinese raw
Well, this re-release will solve at least 2 of those complaints -_-
one, being the file size has been GREATLY reduced to a mere 13MB from it’s monstrous size of 77MB! Second is the over leveling has been toned down, unfortunately, the cleaner did apply the over leveling using the actual redrawn pages so… Yeah… but the images turned out a lot better than before. I did a little run through on the Japanese raw and compared it to the current translation, and I did some minor changes in the translation. You can read those changes in the new version 2.0! Go git it HERE, or if that link doesn’t work, go HERE!
I can understand your sentiments on the matter, and I must admit I too am somewhat responsible for the recent release’s bad quality. Since I suddenly decided to become lazy and didn’t bother much to lend a hand to the over all production, this happened. You must understand the guy who did the cleaning is just a novice at his job, so he is bound to make these errors. Anyway, I’m here now to make things right (or something like that).
Well, rather than reading another boring re-release, I decided to throw in some “behind the scenes” facts that you guys are missing out on.
Fact no. 1, Chiharu introduces his HOT younger sister to the readers by saying her name (I bet you all know what I’m talking about). In the previous translation it only mentioned ‘little sis’, in the original Japanese raw, Chiharu actually mentioned her name! And her name is, Manami, now the cute face has a name! For some reason, this little detail was left out in the Chinese translation.
Fact no. 2, in the Chinese translation, Zomni’s identity being a ghoul was never mentioned. During the production phase, page 14 panel 3 had a missing dialogue. I had to fill that in using the Japanese raws, and that part was “I’m Zomni, a proud Ghoul!”
Fact no. 3, In the Japanese raw, Zomni’s name is actually spelled as “ZONMI” (ゾンミ) with the letters ‘N’ and ‘M’ transposed. In order for it to be read as “Zomni” it should be spelled as “ゾムニー”. I’m not sure why they decided to make the change, it’s probably to associate her name with the word zombie, which is spelled in Japanese as “ZONBI” (ゾンビ).
Well, that concludes my added info about the new project, Maou na Ore to Fushihime no Yubiwa. Let’s all meet again on the next chapter release!!!
